JM acquiring building rights for residential development in Hägersten, Stockholm

JM has signed an agreement with Lennart Ericsson Fastigheter AB for the acquisition of building rights for the development of approximately 100 residential units in Axelsberg in Stockholm. The acquisition amounts to SEK 155m.
JM acquires the building rights on part of the property Lokatten 3, Stockholm, with a detailed plan that has gained legal force and allows for the development of approximately 100 residential units. The purchase price will be paid in connection with transfer of legal title, which is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2026, and production will tentatively start in the same quarter. The acquisition is made in corporate form and will be reported within the business segment JM Residential Stockholm upon transfer of legal title and is conditional on the property being formed and a building permit having become legally binding. – With this acquisition in Axelsberg, JM will have the opportunity to develop and offer many new Nordic Ecolabelled homes in a very good location, with proximity to Lake Mälaren and to rail traffic.
