Residential care units
JM and its subsidiary Seniorgården AB together have extensive experience in building residential care units with a high level of quality and greater accessibility. Having a home is a fundamental human need and crucial for self-esteem, integrity and security. Therefore, both the apartment and the common rooms in the residential care buildings must be perceived as homey and pleasant. This is our starting point when we develop residential care units for the elderly.
Homelike accommodation
Considerable emphasis is placed on both the inner and outer environments to create homelike accommodation. The kitchens and rooms, both private and common, create the conditions for both independence from and socializing with neighbors, staff and visitors.
To create a homey feel it is important to recognize the room division even if all rooms are not separated by walls. The goal is to create attractive outer and inner environments that are both physically and intellectually stimulating.
In addition to being a home, the space must also be adapted to the care the residents need. This means that it must be formed in such a way as to achieve a good work environment without making too many sacrifices to the homelike atmosphere.
Lush outdoor environments
The outdoor environment is an important part of the home. A garden of the senses with walking paths, benches for growing plants, and gurgling water make enjoyable outdoor activities possible. This also contributes to health and well-being.
The goal is to create an attractive outdoor environment that is both physically and intellectually stimulating. The spaces are built for individual activities as well as for bringing together the residents, visitors and staff.
